"You became a priest to protect Lucy, so why should I do the same? I don't want to!"
Malcolm shot Samuel a murderous glare and continued, "I can't believe that a s a Quinn, you're not even thinking of continuing the family legacy.”
"Granny is dying now, Quentin has been dead for many years, Sirius is in jail, and Hunter is serving his life sentence! I'm the only remaining heir to the family fortune now! I don't want to become a useless, good-for-nothing piece of trash like you."
He sneered and added, "I knew that one day, I'd be able to reclaim my throne. So what if Quentin was after me? Didn't I manage to crawl back in the end? "
Just you wait.
One day, I'll reclaim my rightful throne as the master of the Quinn family, and I'll make us even more powerful and successful than ever! Samuel furrowed his brows upon hearing this.
His eyes were etched with pain as he stared at the man before him.
He had been so preoccupied with caring for Lucy and Richard Wheeler all these years that he had neglected his son.
Malcolm had become a second Granny Quinn, someone who was so power-hungry that he would do anything to get what he wanted! Samuel shook his head at the thought of this.
"You won't succeed."
Merchant City Ring Road.
A black Kayenne was racing on the empty road, followed closely behind by a red Ferrare.
The two cars circled the road over and over at breakneck speed.
A traffic policeman was trying desperately to get them to slow down—even shouting at them through a megaphone at one point—to no avail.
Standing by the side of the road and staring at the two racing cars, Luke pulled Gwen into his arms and pressed a kiss on her cheek.
"Is this how your so- called gentle and soft-spoken friends release their pent-up emotions?"
Gwen rolled her eyes at him.
"Are you honestly going to argue with me at a time like this?"

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
