Even after injecting one tube of medicine into Bonnie's vein, Nikki felt that it was not enough.
Haunted with greed, she wanted to administer another injection.
The medicine was, in fact, a poisonous substance Lucy had gotten when she was suffering the most during her illness.
At that time, she wanted to end her life and requested the poison from a doctor that she was close to.
Nikki overheard the conversation between Lucy and the doctor.
The doctor had said that the poison would slowly take effect once it was injected into one's body, and the person would pass away after one week.
Lucy could use the one week to handle all the aftermath before she passed away.
Although Nikki did not know why Lucy did not use the two bottles of poison to take her life, she had secretly put away these substances when Lucy died, not wanting Sean to know Lucy had thought of committing suicide.
Nikki finally understood she did that just to use the poison for a day like today.
She had to kill Bonnie to end her attempts of seducing her brother, once and for all! That thought had brought the devil out of her.
Once again, she injected the needle into Bonnie's vein.
‘One injection will kill her in seven days. What about two injections? Will she die in three days and a half?' Nikki's smile broadened at the thought.
‘I'll just do it.The more poison in her body, the better! The quicker she dies, the faster Sean could forget her!' With an evil smile on her face, the manic Nikki continued to inject the poison, failing to notice that someone had opened the door.
"What are you doing?" acold, gloomy voice suddenly broke the silence in the room, startling Nikki, who lifted her head automatically.
The man at the door was no other than Sean's half- brother, Jim Landry.
His existence gave Nikki the shock of her lifetime. She furrowed her brow and, in panic, quickly put away the needle at hand.
"I—I'm a nurse working in this hospital.I'm here to help Ms.Craig...to treat her injuries!"
"Treat her injuries, you say?" repeated Jim with a sneer.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
