"But..."
Sean looked at Charles and then at Jim, who was a little further from him.
"Mother abandoned both you and Jim! If..." He pursed his lips.
"If Mother had just faced you and Jim, if she hadn't hidden herself, perhaps the Landry family and the Lynch family wouldn't have suffered such terrible losses."
From Samuel's conversation with the others, Sean finally understood everything.
The fight and feud between the Landry and Lynch families were rooted because of his mother, Lucy Hamilton.
If she had only sought her memory and faced it bravely, perhaps both families would not be embroiled in much bitterness and tragedy like they were at present.
After so many years, both families had collided many times in their business, and Colin was dead because of it.
His mother was partly responsible for everything that had happened.
Even with all this, Charles decided to forgive his mother so easily?
"The past is in the past," said Rosalyn gently, smiling as she continued to wipe the blood away from Jim's nose.
"What else can we do apart from forgiving? Do we need to dig your mother's grave and scold her dead body? Should we blame you and Jim for her mistakes and ask the two of you to compensate for it? Her gentle smile never left her face as she kindly added, "What she did had nothing to do with both of you.Besides, it is human nature to hide from being harmed. After experiencing that incident, she only wanted to protect herself and live a quiet, peaceful life. There's nothing wrong with that.If there were anyone to blame..."
Rosalyn sighed.
"You should blame me and Charles. He underestimated the situation too easily, and I have too much faith in my junior."
Rosalyn never expected that the people who had hurt Lucy were Sirius and Quentin; one was a senior that she looked up to, and the other was a junior she considered like her brother.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
