Chapter 2294
Christopher did not lie after all.He did receive an email from Bonnie.
The impersonator explained in detail Bonnie's situation: drugged, wounded, and forced. She wanted to deny the marriage arrangement with Jim, but she did not know how to refuse. Her only hope rested with Christopher as she requested him to come to Merchant City to rescue her.
The details in the email were just the same as Bonnie's current situation, except for the part about being in a coma.
Not only did the impersonator know of Bonnie's condition, but they also were well aware of the relationship between the Landry family and Bonnie.
The perpetrator even knew which media companies were informed of Jim and Bonnie's wedding! Even Luna did not know about those details.
Luna repeatedly read the email to spot any blunders, but there were none.
The impersonator knew all of Bonnie's habits, word choices, and tone in structuring the entire email. It made sense why Christopher would believe that it was indeed Bonnie who sent him the email and disobeyed Rosalyn.
"Can you...really locate where this email was sent from?" Luna asked worriedly as she sat beside Joshua, watching as he linked the phone to a laptop.
She knew Joshua was a better hacker than Nigel, the 'Little Hacker Genius', but her worries remained.
Faking an IP address was easy as a piece of cake with some applications on the net.
Since the impersonator had taken the effort to fake the email, they surely would have thought about the issue with the IP address.
"Don't worry."
Joshua squinted and got to work on the perpetrator's digital footprints with a smile on his face.
"Even if the impersonator had faked their IP address, it's still traceable."
Luna's eyebrows knitted together at this.
"But Nigel had tried it before, and some fake IP addresses are untraceable..."

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
