Jim, on the other end of the call, rolled his eyes.
"Don't be so arrogant, will you, Joshua? Do you think you'll be able to get rid of me just because you say so? How little do you think of me?"
Joshua curled his lips into a smile at the look on Jim's face.
"If you don't believe me, we can try."
With that, he turned to glance at Luna.
"What do you say, Luna?"
Luna pursed her lips, let go of his hand, and sat next to him.
The expression on her face was a little dark as she muttered, "I'm not in the mood for jokes right now."
Seeing that she was acting a little strange, and there was a faint quiver in her voice, Joshua immediately furrowed his brows in concern.
"What's wrong?"
Luna bit her lip and closed her eyes.
The first image that appeared in her mind's eye was Butler Fred's kind, smiling face, as well as the way he looked when he told her he would help her get rid of Sean and Jim.
She remembered the respectful tone of his voice whenever he spoke to her, but at this moment, the memories of these were gradually replaced by the sinister undertone of his claims of loyalty.

Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....

Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
