Chapter 2313
"Charles and Rosalyn have known Butler Fred so long that if we tell them our suspicions, they might confront him themselves.”
"We don't want this to happen, lest it foil our plans of exposing their true colors.Besides, if they confront Butler Fred and Mickey directly, we might never be able to find out their motives for doing all these. On top of that..."
Joshua narrowed his eyes, and all of a sudden, his gaze grew distant.
"We still have to get to the bottom of Granny Lynch's death."
Jim fell silent upon hearing this.
Finally, he sighed and lifted his head to glance at Joshua.
"Do you believe that your grandmother's death...had something to do with Butler Fred and Mickey?" Joshua nodded.
"Of course."
Charles' medicine had always been stored safely in the drug warehouse, and there were only two keys to it: one was with Rosalyn, and the other was with Mickey.
Therefore, if Rosalyn had not been the one to smuggle the drug out of the warehouse...that left only Mickey as the possible suspect.
Even if Mickey and Butler Fred had not participated directly in Granny Lynch's murder, they surely would be connected with the real murderer somehow.
Seeing how determined Joshua was, there was nothing Jim could do apart from sighing.
"Let's hope we really do find some clues."
He glanced at Joshua once more.
"Is Sean...adjusting well to living at Luke's place?"
Joshua nodded in response.
"Gwen even specifically requested Luke to arrange for a woman to take care of him.Don't worry” I guarantee that he's in good hands.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
