Luna could not help feeling a little pained by this.She reached out to grab Gwen's hands in reassurance and rasped, "Gwennie, that's all in the past now."
Luna did not dare to even imagine the pain and suffering Gwen had gone through.It was a miracle that Gwen could have survived those dark days, and there was no denying that Luke truly cared for her.
Luna let out an exhale and said, "Gwennie, why don't..."
She lifted her head to meet Gwen's tearful gaze.
"Why don't you consider staying by Luke's side? I agree with you about one thing.It won't be easy for you to meet another man like him anymore; a man who loves you for who you are, who loves you not because of your looks or money, but because you're you."
Gwen let out a bitter chuckle, her lips etched with disdain and helplessness.She lifted her head to stare at Luna.
"That's impossible.Do you know why I even left Luke in the first place and got engaged to my ex-fiance? It was because..."
She let out a sigh and stared off into the distance once more.
"That's because I don't think I'm good enough for him, and that's a fact.
"Do you even know how Luke's enemies talk about him behind his back? They call him a scavenger, a man who collects other people's unwanted scraps and garbage."
Luna could feel the blood in her entire body run cold.
"They call him plenty more nasty things besides that, Luna, but I'll spare you the horror."
Tears started to slide down Gwen's cheeks as she continued staring into the distance.
"Every time Luke found out about this, he and his men would beat up the perpetrator, and oftentimes, whoever said this would end up with a broken arm or leg...

Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....

Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....

And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
