There was a hint of a smile in the man's voice, but for some reason, Luna felt uneasy about it.
After all, no one—not once in her 20-over years of life—had ever said anything like this while complimenting her daughter on their first encounter.
If she remembered correctly, this was her first time ever meeting Thomas Howard in person, and they were not even acquaintances to begin with.
However, no matter how uneasy she felt, she still smiled and glanced at the man sitting in the booth.
"You're a funny man, Mr.Howard.I'm sure a celebrity like you can't possibly have children ona whim, can you?"
The tall, slender man was leaning against the sofa before her, his arms crossed as he scrutinized her.He was wearing a black suit which accentuated his long legs.
Even with his legs crossed elegantly, they still appeared to be longer than most, so much so that a patch of his ankle was exposed underneath his pant leg.
Underneath the dim, yellow light, the man's face looked as though he had been chiseled out of marble, and for a split second, Luna could not help being swayed by this man's beauty.
Anne was right; Thomas Howard's face was a work of the gods.He was even more handsome and elegant in person.
"To be quite frank, the news of me dating someone would stir up a storm anywhere, much less any news of me getting married and having kids."
Thomas did not appear to be offended by Luna's words at all.He poured Luna a cup of tea and said, smiling, "Being handsome isn't as fun as everyone thinks."
For some reason, these words did not come off as haughty or arrogant when they spilled out of his mouth because it was the truth.

Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
