Thomas curled his lips into a smile and swept his glance over Nellie.
"I, too, hope to have a daughter of my own, but unfortunately, circumstances won't allow me to, so..."
He propped his chin up with one hand and fixed his gaze on Luna's face.
"I was hoping I could get to know Nellie better during our contract period, Ms.Luna.Don't worry; as soon as our contract is over, I'll get out of both you and your daughter's lives, and I promise not to get in touch again in the future."
Luna furrowed her brows upon hearing this.
She was unfamiliar with Thomas Howard's background, and if she had known that he wanted to work with her because of Nellie, she would not have come to meet him! Even though having such a famous celebrity become an ambassador for her products would truly be the honor of a lifetime, she would not use her daughter as leverage! At the thought of this, Luna let out an exhale and stood up.
"I'm sorry, Mr.Howard, but my daughter is the apple of both me and my husband's eye.I'm sorry to say that our relationship, Mr.Howard, is only that of business in nature, and I'll never use my daughter as a bargaining chip for your cooperation."
With that, she grabbed hold of Nellie’s hand and turned to leave.
However, they had just taken two steps when all of a sudden, Nellie drew her hand out of Luna's grasp and turned to stare at Thomas with wide, innocent eyes.
"Sir, you said you liked me, but can you tell me what it is that you like about me? Is there anything particular that makes you want to get to know me better?"
Thomas' expression darkened at the sound of Nellie's sugary sweet voice.He looked back at her through narrowed eyes but did not reply.
Luna was startled by Nellie's impulsive behavior.She quickly stormed forward to pull the little girl back into her arms.

Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
