Neil could not help laughing when he saw how frightened Nellie looked.He was just about to say something when Nigel, too, shot hima cold glare.
"You, too.Some things are meant to be joked about!
"I know that Daddy and Mommy are in love with each other and won't be affected by your jokes, but what will happen if an outsider overhears this? What will other people think of Daddy and Mommy?
"What if Aunt Yannie found out about this? Do you think she'll be able to work for Daddy and Mommy in peace after she finds out? Not only that, but have you considered Mrs.Flores' feelings? "If Aunt Yannie were to quit her job because of your 'harmless' joke, Mrs.Flores would do the same.Is that what the two of you want?"
Nigel's words were sharp but struck like a hammer on a nail.
Neil and Nellie instinctively exchanged glances, then sighed and clamped their mouths shut in unison.
A split second later, Neil put down his cutlery and declared, "I'm sorry, Mommy, Daddy."
Then, he turned and darted up the stairs.
Nellie followed in her brother's footsteps and excused herself from the table.
Luna sighed as she watched the children leave.She turned to glance at Nigel, intending to say something, but no words came out.She knew that Nigel meant well.
He was the most mature and thoughtful out of the three children, but Nellie and Neil were obedient children, and they meant no ill harm when joking about this.
"Nigel," Joshua said calmly and lifted his head to meet Nigel's gaze.
"How do you even know that Nellie and Neil weren't telling the truth?"

Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
