Chapter 2456
Luna glanced at the surveillance footage and realized that the woman who had left with Sean was none other than Kate.
Since Kate was the one who had brought Sean out, that meant he was not in danger.
After coming out of the nurses' station, Luna shot Yannie an apologetic look and said, "My bad,I never thought that someone would take Sean away...Do you want to stay here and wait for him to return, or do you want to visit Riley with me?"
Yannie glanced at the empty room and could not help feeling a little uneasy at the thought of waiting for a strange man she had never met before to return to his room.
Therefore, she turned to smile at Luna.
"I'll go visit the little girl with you, Ms.Luna."
Yannie had heard plenty of things about Riley from her mother, and according to Mrs.Flores, Riley was the baby who had been switched out with Joshua and Luna's daughter.
However, after finding out that Riley was not their daughter, neither Joshua nor Luna changed their minds about her and instead loved and cherished her even more.
Not only that, but even after Riley fell sick, they were willing to pour money and effort into ensuring her recovery.
Because of Mrs.Flores’ description, Yannie always had a good impression of Luna, and since Luna was going to visit Riley, Yannie could not help thinking that Luna was the kindest, most gentle woman she had ever met.
Luna was sensitive to her emotions—she had helped her escape an awkward situation at Joshua's house—and even consoled her when crying about her past.
At this point, Yannie could not help thinking...how amazing would it be if Luna was her sister? If, as Luna suggested, she and Joshua's cousin hit it off and became a couple, did this mean that she and Luna would become family? This was the reason Yannie had requested Luna to bring her to meet Sean. She did not care what kind of person Sean was, nor did she care about his looks.
All she wanted was to find a reason to become Luna's friend or, better yet, family.
"Come on."

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
