Sean's words made Luna and Bonnie furrow their brow tightly.
Sean had asked her if Luke was already dead instead of questioning why Luna would say Luke was ‘probably dead’.
From his question, it meant that he seemed to know a thing or two about Luke's odd disappearance, which was why he asked them.
Luna narrowed her eyes at Sean suspiciously.
"Yes, Luke is dead.Didn't you realize that Luke hasn't returned to Merchant City for more than a month?"
Sean had been recuperating in Merchant City all the while.He had no channels to learn about news in Sea City.
Luna only said that to lie to him.She wanted to know why his response was that straightforward as though he knew a different reality.
However, she did not expect that Sean would sigh and lament regretfully, "I kept thinking that the transplant agreement was fake because I never thought that someone would choose to die just when their life took off.I never would've thought..."
Then, he looked at Luna seriously.
''Do you know where Luke is buried? I...I… want to visit him."
A transplant agreement? Choosing to die when his life was taking off? Bonnie leaned against the wall as her nails dug into the wall.She already understood something from Sean's words.
It was true after all that Luke adored Gwen.
Why else would he rather let Gwen hate him than let her know about her condition? Why else did he keep Gwen by his side? Why had he never appeared during such an important moment, such as Gwen's organ transplant surgery? According to Luke, he could let Gwen do this surgery because he owed Kate and the Miller family a huge favor.
The favor was so huge that he kept Kate by his side for more than a year.
If Luke did not care about the surgery, he could have chosen not to do that.
Of course, the transplant surgery could be done in any hospital apart from the hospital that the Miller family sponsored.
However, their hospital was indisputably better.For Gwen's sake, he endured the humiliation and would rather she misunderstood him.

Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
