Luna felt like every muscle in her body grew taut. She finally understood the depths of how Luke cared for Gwen…so much so that he could sacrifice his life for her.
In contrast, Gwen’s former fiance was a complete asshole.He had some nerve to confront Luke and challenged him with Gwen’s name! It made sense whyLuke ended his life when he did.
“I’m telling you all this not because I want to tell you how innocent Luke was; I just wanted to speak on Luke’s behalf.He never wanted to go against Gwen’s will deliberately, and it was never his intention to stopGwen from starting a new life.” Joshua sighed.
“Later down the line, he found out Gwen was sick.He looked everywhere, high and low, for every possible treatment to cure her, but he failed.Luckily, his effort did not go to waste.He discovered that his organs matched Gwen’s body.
“Mysteriously, the two of them weren’t related by blood, but their organs matched so perfectly.Maybe this is their destiny.” Joshua hugged Luna and looked to the far side.
“That’s why he chose to pretend to show his over-possessiveness toward Gwen and didn’t allow Gwen to leave him.He also pretended to be rude and domineering.” Lune bit her lip and held Joshua’s hand lightly.
“So you’re saying…that he’s been doing everything to save Gwen from a year ago? The time when he insisted on keeping Gwen by his side all the time…?” Joshua nodded.
At that moment, Luna felt like her heart shattered into pieces.
All this while, Luke had been acting, pretending that he was a ruthless, oppressive man.He pretended that his possessiveness over Gwen was so strong that he could not allow Gwen to leave his side.He did all of that for a reason.
From the very beginning, he had decided to sacrifice himself to provide Gwen with a future and healthy body.
“Luke…is a good man.” Bonnie sighed.
She turned around to sit down on the sofa despondently.

Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
