Hugo was stunned to hear Yannie blatantly offering to end her life to end the chaos.
“I can’t think of anything other than offering my life to repay the damage I caused.” Yannie smiled bitterly as she looked at Hugo’s face with her hollow eyes.
“It’s true that I had a baby out of wedlock, I won’t run from the fact. My heart was broken when my baby died. I…”
She sniffled as her voice grew hoarse.
“If I didn’t meet Luna a month ago, I wouldn’t be looking like this. She was the one who took the time to comfort me.
“I thought everything was in the past, that I could finally turn a new leaf in my life as I regained my lust for life. Heck, I bought a new house for my mother for her retirement. I…I even found a better and more stable income.
“I thought everything will be alright.” She closed her eyes as tears ran down her cheeks.
“I don’t know why things would turn out this way.”
Her past was published like a story, read by many. The wound she so desperately tried to hide was once more ripped open for people to mock and gossip about. She did not understand why it happened.
Did she do something wrong? Was she not humble enough? What should she do to become a normal person, not to be looked down on, teased, and laughed at? Hugo furrowed his brow when he saw Yannie crying miserably. Unable to prolong his anger and verbal rage, he sighed and sat in front of Yannie.
“Yannie, I know I hurt your feelings just now, but I’m really mad. When you started with me, you should’ve told me everything about your past. At least I’d be prepared, and the public relations department in the agency could have a backup plan. That way, we won’t be so defenseless.

Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
