Luna was startled by Joshua‘s words. For a minute, she could not register what he truly meant and thought Joshua was grieving for their missing child.
“Is…that so?” Luna sighed. She clicked open the news website again. “Oh, wow… I wouldn‘t have noticed it if you didn‘t tell me.”
Luna knew Yannie had a baby out of wedlock, so when she saw the news, her first thought was that Yannie got betrayed and did not pay attention to the information published in the news. It only came to her mind after Joshua mentioned it.
“What a coincidence for us to deliver on the same day,” remarked Luna.
“It‘s not just that.” Joshua, on the other end of the line, inhaled deeply before he solemnly added, “The hospital Yannie was in was the same hospital Hunter said he stole Riley from. The day Yannie delivered her baby was the same day Riley and our daughter were born.”
This took Luna by complete surprise, so much so that her phone nearly dropped to the floor. “Joshua… Are you saying…”
“Yes,” said Joshua. “I‘ve checked every pregnant woman in the hospital, and no one reported a missing child. So, I suspected as you said that the mother could‘ve been pregnant out of wedlock and her medical record was taken away.
“Nonetheless, there were too many girls admitted to the hospital, and all of their medical records were complete. That‘s why my men couldn‘t find any lead. Now that I see…”
He took another deep breath as his emotions began to whir. “I think Yannie is Riley‘s birth mother.”
The statement dropped like a bomb, and Luna felt her body becoming tense. She leaned back on her executive chair as her voice became erratic.
“How can that be?”
It never struck Luna that Yannie was Riley‘s birth mother. However…
The father of Yannie‘s baby was Thomas. Furthermore, Joshua said he knew who Riley‘s father was, DeRe_${J he had the paternity test to prove that person was Riley‘s father.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
