Chapter 2649 From this point, it should be just a coincidence for this man to look identical to Luke. Both men were far different in terms of their behavior.
Joshua was a typical businessman. Since Steven already held a sort of apprehension toward him during their first meeting, it also showed Joshua that Steven was not good with business dealings. After the negotiation, not only did Joshua have what he wanted, he even obtained a huge profit from Steven. In the meantime, Steven did not know he suffered a big loss, even though he was on the winning side.
After the negotiation was completed, Steven wanted to treat Joshua and Thomas to lunch excitedly.
“I don‘t think that‘s necessary. I‘ve another schedule on hand, and Mr. Howard needs to rush to his next appointment.” Joshua stood up and looked at Steven with a remote expression. His voice sounded very flat as he added, “Wasn‘t Mr. Hughes the one who said you didn‘t like to make friends?”
Steven looked embarrassed when he heard that. He tried to explain, “Mr. Lynch, I don‘t mean that...”
“Nevermind.” Joshua waved his hand and stopped Steven from explaining. “We‘re just business partners. There‘s no need for other interaction other than that.”
He looked at Thomas, who was still in shock. “Let‘s go.”
Thomas finally regained his senses and followed Joshua to leave the conference room. When they left Hughes Group and entered the car, Thomas gave Joshua a big thumbs up. “You‘re amazing!”
Yes, Thomas asked for Joshua‘s help, but he never saw what Joshua was like during a business negotiation. He was supposed to attend today‘s meeting by himself because the cooperation with Hughes Group was not important in Joshua‘s plan.
After Yannie mentioned Denise in the morning, Joshua changed his mind and decided to follow Thomas to the negotiation.
In the past, Thomas had many misunderstandings with Joshua, which included the achievement Joshua had today due to the glory of his family back in the day. It was on this day, after witnessing the negotiation with Steven, that he saw how eloquent and persuasive Joshua was. He believed Joshua had the ability to turn right into wrong and vice versa, which amazed him profoundly, especially after seeing how happy Steven was after Steven suffered a big loss.
He was downright impressed with Joshua.
Joshua closed his eyes and leaned back on the car seat lazily, massaging his temple. “You know Steven before?”
Thomas nodded. “Yes. His father was my old man‘s family friend. I saw him a couple of times.”
. Joshua opened his eyes and squinted again. “Is this what he looks like?”

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
