Chapter 2786
Yannie lifted her head dazedly.
Luna was standing in front of her with a coat draped over her loungewear.
It was clear that Luna had been in such a rush that she did not have time to change her clothes and threw on a jacket over her indoor clothes instead. Not only that, but Luna’s hair was a mess, and she was still wearing the hotel’s slippers.
This was the worst state Yannie had ever seen Luna in, but at this moment, a surge of warmth spread through her heart.
“Luna…” She met Luna’s gaze with tears brimming in her eyes.
“Yannie, you’re not a curse.” Luna let out an exhale and strode toward her. “Even though all this had something to do with you, you’re not the main cause at all.”
She fixed her gaze on Yannie’s face and continued, “Please believe that even without you, Thomas would’ve to go through these hardships somehow. The people who had deceived him never took you into their equation at all.”
Mrs. Flores curled her lips into a smile and stood up, handing Yannie over to Luna’s care before disappearing into the kitchen to make them some coffee.
Luna sat down on the sofa and pulled Yannie into her arms. “Yannie, you must believe that none of this happened because of you. On the contrary, you’re the only reason Thomas and Riley are still here today.
“If it weren’t for you, Thomas would’ve believed that he had slept with Denise when he awoke yesterday. Do you think he would’ve stayed calm after that, knowing how much he despises Denise?
“If it weren’t for you, Thomas wouldn’t have been arrested on only one count of murder, but two–his father and Denise. Isn’t that so?”
Yannie began to calm down when she heard this. She bit her lip and lifted her head to stare at Luna rather helplessly. “But Luna, if it weren’t for me…Thomas wouldn’t have been poisoned and…”
The more she tried to say it, the more upset she got. “I can’t possibly deny my responsibility in all this. Luna, you don’t have to try to comfort me… I…” me,

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
