Chapter 2788 “I–I can handle Thomas on my own.” After hesitating for a moment, Yannie decided to reject Luna‘s offer. “Don‘t worry; I‘ll take care of this. You guys should...take care of whatever you need to.
“I‘m sure that Mr. Lynch will be overwhelmed by work. Not only does he have to look after Howard Group while Thomas is gone, but he needs to investigate Senior Howard‘s death and find Riley at the same time. I‘m sure that he could use the help.”
Luna paused when she heard this.
“Alright,” Gwen piped up before Luna could even reply. “I trust that you can take care of things on Thomas‘ side on your own. Luna and I shall head over to help Joshua now.”
She gave Yannie a finger–crossed gesture and added, “We‘ll await your good news.”
With that, she strode away, dragging Luna behind her.
Even after getting into the car, Luna still turned to glance in Yannie‘s direction with a concerned look. “Are we leaving just like this? I‘m worried that she‘ll lose it again–”
“She won‘t,” Gwen interrupted her curtly. “She‘s not a child anymore, so how will she change her mind just like that? Besides, didn‘t you notice that the look in her eyes changed as soon as she decided not to pout and do something about the situation instead?”
Gwen sighed and turned to stare out the window.“Luna, you‘re such a softie. You were worried about Aura back in Sea City and constantly treated her like a child, but in reality, Aura not only had a mind of her own, but she even took matters into her own hands to seduce Joshua behind your back and trick you.
“It‘s the same for Yannie. She‘s already in her twenties, and she even has a child. You should stop treating her like a kid. Since she‘s decided she‘ll stop crying and instead help Thomas prove his innocence, I‘m sure she‘ll stick to it. You shouldn‘t worry about her.” With that, Gwen turned to glance at Luna. “Where shall we go now?”

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
