Chapter 2847
Gwen nodded and reached out to clasp his hand. She took a deep breath and asked, “When will you be leaving?”
Luke shook his head. “I have no idea either.”
The truth was, when it came to his miraculous resurrection from death, he was just as clueless as the next person. Nonetheless, he was more than grateful to be given the chance to see Gwen once again, even if it was in the most bizarre of ways.
He held her hand so tenderly as though he was holding the world’s most precious treasure.
Then, he turned to glance at Joshua. “I’ll leave the rest to you.”
Joshua nodded. “Don’t worry; I’ll take care of everything.”
Finally, Luke shifted his gaze to Thomas. “I hope you’ll send some of your people to help search for Denise too. After all, Steven doesn’t have much help.”
Even though Steven’s men were trying their best, Luke knew from experience that a mere few of them were not enough to find a woman hiding in the slums.
Thomas was silent for a moment before finally nodding.
“However-” he curled his lips into a smile as he met Luke’s gaze. “What am I supposed to do about the fact that your brother punched me?”
Luke broke into a smile. “Well, you can bring that up with me, but you’ll have to win against me first.” Thomas rolled his eyes at him and waved his hand dismissively. “Alright, alright. You can go now. You’d better cherish your time together before Steven returns.”
Gwen’s face flushed red when she heard this. She bit her lip, glancing at Luke’s side profile, as a surge of inexplicable warmth spread into her heart.
Even though Luke and Steven were identical, the two of them seemed to stir up entirely different feelings in her heart.
“Haven’t you gotten enough of me already?” Luke could not help smiling when he noticed her staring. He reached out to stroke her hair tenderly. “I thought that after being together for so long, you would’ve gotten sick of me by now.”

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
