Luna lowered her gaze and looked at Alice on the floor.
“What great acting you have, Mrs. Lynch.“
Alice lifted her head and looked at Luna with tears in her eyes. “You’re still not willing to forgive me, is it?
“She just pushed you! It was only a painting! “
“Her husband even paid for the painting, and it’s not your money. Why can’t you forgive her?“
“Also, which ordinary woman would work with another husband so late into the night? Who are you lying to?“
“The legitimate wife was merely teaching the mistress a lesson. Now that the wife is begging for forgiveness, the mistress refused to forgive her?
What kind of world is this?“
“Before Mrs. Lynch came back to the country, didn’t they announce their relationship? I’m sure they hooked up before then.“
Alice turned to look at the crowd who was bad- mouthing Joshua with teary eyes. “Don’t you dare talk nonsense. My husband treats me well. I know clearly how much he loves me. He just got carried away for a moment.“
Standing in the same spot, Luna looked at the scene playing out and laughed.
Alice was not there to apologize so early in the morning; she came to cause more trouble.
“Mrs. Lynch, if you like acting so much, you can stay and continue acting. I won’t play along.“
Luna was about to pass through the crowd and leave, but everyone blocked her way.
“The mistress has a guilty conscience! She’s trying to run away! “
“Don’t let her leave! “
“She can leave, but only if she forgives Mrs. Lynch! “
The crowd who did not understand the situation said unreasonable things to Luna.
She could not push past through the crowd.
Something was not right. These people must have been…placed here by Alice.
Subconsciously, Luna turned to look at Alice.
Alice was still on her knees, but there was a hint of malice in her smile. “Luna, forgive me, please.“
Luna narrowed her eyes. Obviously, if she did not forgive Alice, she would not be able to walk out from the crowd.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
