Chapter 2939
What Celia said had shaken everyone at the wedding and created an uproar. Everyone started to discuss and whispered to each other.
Although Celia had aged with time and she did not maintain her face very well, it was easy to tell she was quite a beautiful woman in her prime.
Many people thought she was just a woman Adrian met. Who would have thought...Celia actually worked in the household as their nanny when
Rianna was pregnant. In other words, Adrian fell for Rianna's nanny when Rianna was pregnant and, at that time, started to think about killing Rianna.
That was why Celia resigned and left Rianna, lying that she needed to go back to her hometown to get married and have kids. The naive Rianna thought Celia was telling the truth. She even gave some money to Celia in hope that Celia would have a great life ahead of her.
As people discussed further, they felt even more sorry for Rianna. Their conclusion was how kind Rianna was and what a jerk Adrian had been.
Adrian's face looked terrible as he overheard some of the discussion. He furrowed his brows vehemently and glared at Joshua who was beside him. "I know there'd be nothing good about your return! I thought you came with a blessing for my new marriage and, at the very least, respect! But I didn't think that you'd come to ruin my wedding!"
"Weren't you the one who invited me to ruin it?" Joshua smiled plainly as he looked at how unsatisfied his father was.
While glancing at Jacqueline who was standing behind Adrian, he added," As a matter of fact, I need to thank Ms. Grace. Without this wedding and the invitation, I'd never rush back in such a hurry to settle all of these.
Thank you for offering this opportunity."
"You're welcome." Jacqueline smiled brightly in her white wedding gown. ’I have my purpose, too. There's some personal matter I'd like to settle with you and Ms. Luna later."

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
