Seeing how Jacqueline was getting angrier by the minute, Luna quickly extended her hand out to stop Joshua, afraid the woman would lose her mind and hurt Anne. "Don't get involved for now."
Maybe Jacqueline was right when she said Anne was just her friend from Joshua's point of view. It was normal that Joshua would not care about Anne that much.
For Luna, however, it was different. Anne was her best friend.
When her face was disfigured seven years ago, Anne was the person she trusted the most. She was also the person Luna went to when she had troubles.
After Malcolm ruined her original face, Anne and her teachers were the ones who took time, little by little, to restore her face. Although Anne was just an intern then, she was the one person who cared about Luna among the other surgeons.
The only thing the other doctors cared about was her recovery and if her restoration was a success. Anne was the only one who would ask if Luna was in pain and if Luna's decision and persistence were worth it.
On the nights when Luna was in so much pain, Anne would sneak into her ward with comfort food. She would open the window to let the night breeze enter the room and admire the moon and wind with Luna, whose head at the time was wrapped up like a mummy.
She even told Luna this before...
"As a matter of fact, I don't think being pretty is important. I mean it, even when I'm a plastic surgeon myself. Beauty is very important to girls, but I always think that being happy is more important. If becoming beautiful makes you happy, then your plastic surgery is worth it. However, if being beautiful only pains you more, then plastic surgery has no meaning.
Instead, you should live your life and be happy. That's the most important to me."

Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
