Chapter 2945
Jacqueline froze at this. "You... You're willing to sacrifice yourself for Anne?
This was impossible!
Luna was not the kind of person who would do this, nor would she ever be! This was the woman who killed Fiona-her sister! How could a woman like her possibly be willing to sacrifice herself for someone else, much less a friend who had no blood connection to her at all?
"Isn't this what you wanted the most?" Luna raised her brows, staring coldly at Jacqueline, and pointed the dagger at herself. "I’ve told you-you should take out your hatred on me, not anyone else!"
"Luna!" Joshua's eyes widened in shock as he watched Luna pointing the dagger at herself. He stepped forward, trying to stop her. "Don't do
anything rash! Don't hurt yourself now-there might still be a chance!"
Even though Luna did not know that Anne was no longer alive, Joshua knew it as clear as day.
Since everything had gotten to this stage, there was no point feeling sorry about it any longer. What mattered the most now was to get ahold of Luna and stop her from harming herself!
"What chance?" Luna curled her lips into a bitter smile. "Joshua, you were trying so hard to distract me, first bringing me shopping, then to the salon for a makeover. Do you think I had no idea what you were trying to do? I know you're just doing this to stall time and prevent me from discovering what happened to Anne!"
The color drained from Joshua's face at this. He furrowed his brows, then nodded. "Yes, you're right, but..."
"I guessed that you probably found out about what happened to Anne, and you're just trying to distract me to prevent me from finding out, and at the same time trying to save her before I discovered the truth.
"This is Banyan City, for God's sake-you and Jude's territory. If not even the two of you managed to save her after a whole afternoon, there's
probably no hope left." With that, Luna turned to stare at Jacqueline. "Even though I don't know how you managed to evade Joshua and Jude's search

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
