Luna paused for a while.
She did not realize her nails dug so deeply into her palms.
“So, the two of you got me here to persuade me to hold a news conference, just to prove that Alice is a good woman. Then, you want to use that to get closer to her and ask her for money?“
Natasha sighed. “I know you must be looking down on us, but as parents, if we could find a way for our children to be free, who’d want to watch their children stay in prison? We’re only living like this now because we love our children too much.“
Then, Natasha lifted her head and looked at Luna. “Ms. Luna, you should know that I misunderstood Luna Gibson, now Alice Gibson, in the past. She hates me, so it wasn’t appropriate for us to find her directly. I hope you’ll cooperate with us and hold a press conference tomorrow. Clear her name so that the people on the internet would stop bullying her. This way, she’ll remember how uneasy it is for us as parents, and only then would we be able to get money from her.“ Luna’s heart turned cold.
Joseph and Natasha took so much effort to get her to come, just so they could use her to appease Alice, then squeeze some money out of her.
In her eyes, Aura would always be the most important one —selling off all of their belongings They only wanted to repair their relationship with Luna Gibson because she was Joshua’s wife.
“I’m sorry,“ sneered Luna as she gazed at the steam that rose from the teacup.
“I won’t be able to help you. First, this incident is obviously Alice trying to make things difficult for me. Also, I don’t have a reason to help you. Lastly, “ Luna swept a cold glance at Joseph and Natasha. “I ’11 say this much. Since if you only have Aura Gibson in your hearts at all times, you should treat it as if you only have one daughter. Since young, none of you have given Luna Gibson any parental love, so don’t bother her now. Leave yourself some dignity.“
Then, she turned and left.
Looking at her back, Natasha gritted and immediately chased after her.
“Ms. Luna.“

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
