Chapter 2997
The man could not help curling his lips into a smile when he heard this. "I'm the last person in this world to be scared of death.”
The truth was, he should have died long ago.
Who would have thought...a man that should have died would turn out to be resurrected in his twin brother's body?
"That's good to hear." Gwen paused. "I'm willing to pay you double whatever Joshua's paying you. If you follow me back to Sea City, you'll be getting triple the amount of money than what you're getting now."
With that, she let out an exhale and continued, "Can you help me buy the tickets? Let's go to Sea City."
"Alright." The man smiled, strode into the living room, and sat down on the sofa.
Gwen could not help glancing at his name while he bought the plane tickets to Sea City.
His name was Stefan Joneson.
Not a bad name.
Gwen was ready to depart with all her belongings.
She was just here on a short trip and thus did not have much stuff with her.
Stefan was an even bigger minimalist; all his belongings could fit into a single backpack.
After packing their bags, the two of them arrived at the airport and caught the first flight back to Sea City.
It had been so long since she returned, that as soon as the plane landed, Gwen could not help taking deep breaths of the city's air. She turned to glance at Stefan and asked, "Can you get me one of your caps and masks?"
Luke's old subordinates had eyes on the airport and train stations at all times, and although she was not scared of them, she did not want to get caught the moment she stepped off her flight.
Stefan was silent for a moment, then curled his lips into a smile. ’Well, I can give you one of mine, but unfortunately, they've all been used. Are you sure you don't mind?"
Gwen shrugged. "Staying alive is far more important."
Stefan grinned at this. A split second later, he curled his lips into a smirk and handed her a brand-new cap and mask. "I was kidding. These are brand -new."

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
