At that, Gwen was instantly silent. After a while, she said gently, "Okay. Come back quickly."
She did not wait for Stefan's response as she hung up.
Stefan furrowed his eyebrows, a little surprised that she hung up on him so quickly. Gwen was usually very polite to strangers and people she was not close to. Only with people who she was very close to would she show her true character, doing things like hanging up on them before they could finish a sentence.
"Boss...’ At that moment, Kurt said feebly, "Don't you think you've kind of exposed your identity a little by what you said just now? Gwen thinks you're a foreigner, being your first time here in Sea City, yet you said that no one could hurt you here."
He cast a careful glance at Stefan, saying, "Do you think she'll realize who you are?"
Stefan furrowed his brows. He realized that ever since he met someone familiar from the past, his attitude has resumed its previous arrogance.
"I don't think so..." He hesitated for a while before sighing in his heart. Why had he not learned modesty and stayed low-profile after sharing the same body with Steven?
"Boss, are you going to look for Gwen? Do you want me to give you a ride?’ Kurt stood up.
Stefan looked at his broken arm and smiled. "Do you think you could give me a ride in this state?"
Kurt blushed. "Sorry, this came out of habit. I'll...make a move. Go and look for Gwen. We'll contact each other in the future."
He was about to turn and leave when Stefan stopped him. "Are you in a hurry?"

Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
