Chapter 3003
Gwen's entire body stiffened when she saw Stefan's reaction. She furrowed her eyebrows and immediately realized what she had done. "Luke is...
someone that I used to know.’
"That's the name of my old boss,” Kurt said as he stepped into the house." He passed away some time ago."
Since he had promised Stefan that he would go along with his act and pretend to be acquaintances, that was what he had to do.
He strode over to Gwen and reached out to shake her hand. ’Long time no see, Ms. Larson."
Gwen widened her eyes in shock when she saw who it was. A split second later, her gaze changed to one of incredulity. "Are you...Kurt?"
"Yes, that's me.’ Kurt chuckled. ’I thought you had forgotten me."
"Why would I?" Gwen shook her head, and her gaze fell on Kurt's broken arm. "I just never thought that..."
Kurt was one of the bravest and most ruthless of all of Luke's men. Out of all of them, he had been selected to become Luke's personal bodyguard and had assumed this role for many years. Thus, it was safe to say that Kurt was one of the most outstanding fighters in Sea City.
Why did he end up like this?
This was why Gwen had hesitated when she first laid eyes on him. She could not believe that the formidable man she once knew would end up vulnerable and homeless.
"I got into a car accident while delivering food," Kurt explained, giving her a meek smile. "Before Boss passed away, he instructed and made arrangements for me to leave this place, but I chose not to because the woman I love lives here. I eventually returned to Sea City and intended to help the rest of the gang build our foundation up again, but it turns out everything had changed since Boss' passing.
"The ones that were loyal to him had all become fugitives and were forced to go into hiding.’
Kurt sighed, then glanced meaningfully at Stefan before continuing, "I had no choice but to get out on my own and do everything I can to survive.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
