Alice’s words turned the room silent.
Joshua furrowed his brows. He picked up the tissue on the table and passed it to Alice. “I do love Luna Gibson in the past more than the present you. It’s a good thing if you’re willing to change, but if it’s too painful, just forget about it.“
In Joshua’s opinion, it would be extremely challenging for Alice to change back to the gentle and kind Luna Gibson six years ago.
He did not feel that Alice should change because of him. On the contrary, she has done so many things for him already. He did not want her to suffer just to appease him when their relationship was already coming to an end.
“It won’t be painful! “
Just when Joshua was about to retreat his hand, Alice grabbed onto his hand. Her eyes and tone were equally anxious. “Joshua, believe me, I could do it! I could change into whatever you like. Whatever you want me to be, I’ll become that person. Is that good?“
Joshua furrowed her brows slightly.
Alice’s gaze and her close to manic tone made him rather uncomfortable.
The last time a woman that made him so uncomfortable was the Walters’ Hailey Walter in Sea City. The woman that he had an arranged marriage with since young.
“Joshua, don’t leave me, please?“
Alice grabbed onto his hand tightly. Her tone and gaze were getting more and more manic. “I have wanted to marry you since I was young. I could finally be together with you. I cannot…“
Joshua narrowed his eyes. He lowered his head and looked at her closely, grabbing his arm. “You said you wanted to marry me since you were young?“
When Luna Gibson knew him, he was almost 17 years old.
She always said that knowing him was the best thing that happened during her teenage years.
Why, at that moment, did she say that she wanted to marry him since young?
Alice tensed at Joshua’s questions. She was in a daze for two seconds because raising her eyes and awkwardly letting him go. “I… got too excited and said wrongly.“
Joshua smiled. He lifted his hand and wiped away her tears at the corner of her eyes. “The agitated way
you were just now looked like someone I used to know.“

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
