Luna’s hand stiffened. After a moment, she let out a chuckle. “Did I hear you correctly, Miss Gibson? You hired people to kidnap my son and daughter. They’re sitting in front of me right now, putting ointment onto their wounds. Now you’re telling me you want to make a deal? I don’t think there’s anything to talk about.“
Leaning against the hospital bed, Alice closed her eyes. “What if the thing I wanted to talk to you about is me and Joshua’s divorce?“
Luna furrowed her brows. “What do you mean?“
“What I mean is, “ Alice answered. She took a deep breath and tried to make herself as clear as possible. “I wasn’t the one who hired the people to kidnap Neil and Nellie. You should know by now that I’m not that stupid. If I wanted to punish Neil and Nellie, I have plenty of other ways of doing so. I didn’t have to choose the dumbest method.“
Luna paused. “What are you trying to say?“
“I’m sure you know by now that Joshua is planning to divorce me, “ Alice said as she curled her lips into a smile, sounding somewhat disheartened. “I’ll make a deal with you right now. If you track Joshua down and ask him to let Yvonne go, then I won’t file for Neil and Nellie’s custody.“
Luna chuckled upon hearing Alice’s words. “Are you crazy, Alice?“
“You’re trying to use my children’s custody against
me so that I would ask Joshua to release the person who harmed them? Do you think Joshua is stupid? What makes you think he can’t put two and two together, and figure out your connection to Yvonne? Besides, what makes you think that you will be able to win Neil and Nellie’s custody rights in the first place?“
On the other end of the line, Alice’s face began to lose its color. She knew that Luna was right, but she could not risk letting Joshua find out about her scheme, so she was willing to do anything to cover her tracks.
Alice bit down on her lip and said, “Well then, why don’t you make me another deal? As long as Yvonne gets to walk off free, I’ll agree to anything you want.“

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
