Theo’s hand that held Luna stalled a little.
“Joshua, I want to go home…“ Luna, in Theo’s arms, subconsciously muttered once more.
She sounded wasted in her drunken state. What she said before, only Theo could hear, but what she muttered the next time, everyone heard it clearly.
Mr. Scott was stunned.
Alice’s face started to turn pale, and she cautiously looked at Joshua at the corner of her eyes.
Joshua looked at Luna, and his gaze was deep. “She’s drunk.“
Theo furrowed his brows and hoisted Luna upward instantly. He shot Joshua a glare before he walked off with Luna in his arms.
Joshua’s gaze remained in the direction where they left, brows tightly furrowed, even when they had left.
“It looks like Luna truly is drunk…“ said Alice tentatively as she observed Joshua’s reaction in fear.
Joshua flatly responded before looking elsewhere. He lowered his head and continued eating.
Looking at his perfectly handsome side profile, Alice smiled on the surface, but she inwardly gnashed her teeth.
That way, Luna’s identity would be exposed sooner or later. She had to remove Luna from Joshua.
When they got out of the hotel, Luna kept yelling Joshua’s name throughout the entire journey.
Theo did not know where her hotel was, so he simply brought her to an inn.
When they reached the room in the inn, Luna started hugging the toilet bowl and vomited into it.
The sight broke Theo’s heart. He passed her some water. “Since you can’t drink, why did you do it?
Even if others force you to drink, you don’t have to bring it upon yourself, right?“
Luna looked up in a daze, her eyes glazed with tears. “But, today is the first time I get to join in a business event with Joshua after our marriage. His business partner asked me to drink, so how could I not drink? I don’t want to be a burden to him. I don’t want him to think that I’m useless.“
Luna then retched into the toilet bowl once more. Theo was baffled.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
