Luna turned around and looked out of the window. She did not dare meet Joshua’s gaze.
Joshua took a deep breath and looked at the back of her head.
“Last night, I…I was worried that Theo would do inappropriate things to you after he took you away while you were drunk, so I got Lucas to look for you.“
Luna almost laughed out loud.
She turned around and looked at Joshua coldly. “Mr. Lynch, are you trying to humor me? Because you were worried that Theo would do something to me, you got Lucas and five other escorts to chase after me to defile me and take pictures so you could stand up for Alice?“
Luna looked at him with cold hatred in her eyes. “Mr. Lynch, are you always that cruel to the women you have sexual relationships with?“
Joshua’s eyes darkened.
He furrowed his brows. “I’m only trying to explain to you. I didn’t hire any escorts last night. Lucas only took Zach, Yuri, and a few other bodyguards.“
Joshua glared at Luna coldly. “Do you understand what I’m saying?“
Luna smiled.
“You don’t have to explain yourself. Didn’t I already give you an out just now? You, want to punish me?
I’ve already paid you back on the bed just now. I’ve even given you an excuse, and I would’ve forgotten the incident last night entirely had you not brought it up.“
Luna’s smile was indifferent and cruel. “I don’t even care about this matter anymore, even if I’m the victim. So, Mr. Lynch, you don’t have to lie to protect your great image.“
Joshua furrowed his brows even tighter.
He could not help but reach out and clutched Luna’s neck. “Luna, has the water gone to your brain?“
His grip was so strong that Luna was in so much pain. Her brows knitted tightly with it.
She looked up and met Joshua’s endless gaze. “Yes, I’m brainless. That’s why I was stupid enough to appease you with my body even when you’re scheming against me, to then find a way out for you! “
Her voice was frigidly cold. There was no trace of the warmth that she used to feel for him.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
