Joshua’s hands that were holding his fork and spoon paused slightly. Finally, he laughed lightly, “Because you’re a divorcee and your ex-husband is a jerk, that’s why you secretly kidnapped Neil and Nellie and raised them as your own?“
Luna raised her glass and harshly gulped down a mouthful of warm water, then shifted her eyes to Joshua. “You can say that.“
Joshua raised his glass as well. “Why didn’t you have any children when you were with your ex-husband?“
“He doesn’t deserve to have children.“ Placing her glass down, Luna lifted her cutlery and continued eating. “He had an affair when I needed him the most, and even wanted to kill me to please his side piece. What do you think, does he deserve to have children?“
If she was not already pregnant back then, she really did not want to have his children.
He did not deserve them.
Even after she gave birth to them, Luna staunchly believed the three children belonged to her and her alone.
They had nothing to do with Joshua.
When she said these words, her eyes were fixed straight on Joshua.
Her gaze made him feel confused. As if he was the man who discarded her and hurt her.
He twisted his brows and turned to face away from her. “Then? You let him off the hook just like that?“
Luna curled her lips up in a cold smirk. “I don’t plan to let him off the hook. But he’s too powerful, I don’t have the means to exact revenge yet.“
Joshua nodded faintly. “If you need any help, you can come to me anytime.“
Looking at him like this, Luna smiled in a taunting sneer, “Sure.“
Both of them nursed their own thoughts and worries as they ate.
When they returned to the hotel, Luna immediately spotted Alice who was waiting at the entrance to the hotel. Under the dim yellow glow of the streetlights, her slim and petite figure stood at the entrance, looking especially lonely and pitiful.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
