Luna spent the whole night in the study with Joshua. He finally drifted off to sleep around 4am.
Luna felt a little exhausted and uncomfortable after that. However, she was afraid that the children
would wake up and discover she was gone, so she tiptoed out of the study and back into the children’s room.
As she gently opened the master bedroom door and walked out, Alice glanced in the direction Luna had left with an expression of envy and resentment.
She went into the study, dragged a drunken Joshua back into the master bedroom, and gingerly lowered him onto their bed. Then, she drew a few fake hickeys all over her body with makeup, removed her clothes, and slipped herself in between Joshua’s arms.
The first thing Joshua saw when he opened his eyes the next morning was Alice’s sleeping face. She laid next to him, stark naked, with a few dark red hickeys scattered all over her chest and arms.
Joshua’s expression darkened. What happened last night?
“Are you awake, Joshua?“ As if sensing his gaze, Alice slowly opened her eyes. When she realized he was staring at her naked body, she immediately blushed and tried to cover herself. “What are you looking at?“
Joshua did not know how to feel about it. He turned his head away from her and asked, “Aren’t you tired? Don’t you want to sleep a little longer?“
Although he was utterly wasted, he still vaguely remembered that they had been up almost the entire night, or at least, until 3 or 4 am.
Joshua’s energy levels were different from his wife’s. Ever since they had gotten married, Joshua knew that Luna Gibson’s stamina was much weaker than his. Every time they spent the night together, he would be fine the next day, but Luna always had to sleep in until past noon to regain her energy.
Since they had been up almost the entire night, he thought Alice would want to sleep a little longer. To his surprise, however, Alice chuckled. “No need. I don’t feel tired.“
A gleam of surprise flashed through Joshua’s eyes. “ Really? You don’t feel tired at all?“
“Nope. I’m fine.“ Alice could see the confusion in his eyes, so she immediately lowered her head bashfully. “I’m feeling a little sore from last night, but otherwise, I’m fine. I don’t need to sleep that long.“

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
