“It’s already 8am. It’s about time she wakes up and has breakfast.“
Neil frowned at Alice’s words and immediately stretched his arms out to block Alice’s path. “No. Mommy’s still sleeping. We can’t wake her.“
Of course, Alice did not listen to him at all. She stood next to the door and shouted at the top of her lungs, “Luna! Luna! It’s 8am now, time to get up! I’ve made you breakfast! You’re supposed to head to the company with Joshua at 9am for your meeting!
Luna! “
Alice’s voice was deafening, and she finally managed to wake Luna up from her slumber. The latter jolted awake and glanced at the time—it was 8am. She had only managed to sleep three hours.
Despite that, however, she knew that Alice was right. She had to go to work, so she crawled out of bed and muttered, “Thank you. I’ll be down in a while.“
Seeing that Luna was awake, a hint of triumph flashed across Alice’s eyes. She chuckled and stared at Luna with a gentle expression as she said, “I’ve made you breakfast. You should eat it while it’s still hot. Why don’t we go downstairs now?“
Luna paused for a moment, then nodded at her. “ Thank you.“ With that, she let out a yawn and slowly trudged towards the bathroom.
“We’re all waiting for you to have breakfast. You’d better come downstairs soon! “ Alice reminded her before she turned and disappeared down the stairs.
Neil stood in front of the bathroom door and stared at Luna with his arms crossed. ”Why are you so tired today? Didn’t you fall asleep around the same time a s we did?”
Nellie gazed at Luna’s dark eye circles with an expression of concern. ”Mommy, why don’t you get some more rest? Neil and I can go downstairs for breakfast first.”
Luna glanced at her two children and smiled. ”It’s okay. It’s about time I wake up anyway since I have to work today. ” With that, she let out another yawn and started washing up.
By the time the three of them came downstairs, everyone was already seated in the dining room. To their surprise, however, Joshua and Alice were not the only ones there. Adrian and Granny Lynch were present as well.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
