Patience and tolerance have their limits too.
He could forgive Alice’s dirty tricks and her little antics once or twice.
However, what if it happened more than that?
If she has already changed and she was no longer the Luna Gibson from six years ago, was Joshua still going to continue tolerating?
“Joshua…“
Alice slipped and slumped onto the rug on the ground from the sofa. She grabbed Joshua’s sleeve with teary eyes.
“Joshua… I know I did wrong. It’s really because you have been too close with Luna. I really have no sense of security, that is why I would…
“Also, I have been against this plan from the beginning. It’s Yvonne and Mr. Walter, they came up with this idea on my behalf. I initially wanted to reject the plan, but I realized that you were always going to Luna’s. You spend much more time with her daily than me. I’m really jealous.
“I have been apart from you for so long. I am really afraid that I might lose you. I can’t take this, that is why I half-heartedly agree with them…“
Alice wiped her tears and sobbed, “Joshua, please forgive me…“
Joshua lowered his gaze and looked at the woman sitting on the floor while grabbing his sleeve.
Alice’s face was still the face of the woman he owed the most to since six years ago.
However, at that moment, she was so vicious and manipulative that he could not believe that this woman was the same gentle and kind-hearted Luna Gibson, the woman who would stand behind him.
Did he still love her?
He guessed that he still loved her. Luna Gibson was someone he could not forget nor let go of for his entire life.
However, at that moment, Joshua was also very clear that he actually loved the version of her six years ago.
The version of her at that moment…
“Alice.“
Joshua closed his eyes and said in a low voice, “Let’s get a divorce.“
Perhaps if they split up, Alice would not let jealousy blind her. She might return back to the gentle and adorable version of her.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
