Joshua furrowed his brows, looking at the face of the woman he once was obsessed with. He had mixed feelings.
“Joshua! “ Alice grabbed the hem of his pants. She choked, “I’m not divorcing you. I don’t want a divorce! We have had a relationship for so many years. How could you bear to let it go just like that?“
Joshua closed his eyes. “I have also considered this decision for a long time.“
He had asked himself countless times. Was he still going to continue this?
Should he continue on like what Luna said, constantly tolerating and indulging in her?
“Joshua.“
Alice was crying so badly she was gasping for air. “I only have you! You can’t treat me this way! You can’t treat me this way! You have treated me so badly before, but I did not mind it. I loved you with all my heart. Why are you not willing to give me another chance this time? Joshua…“
She helplessly grabbed the hem of his pants. “Give me another chance. I’ll be good. Do whatever you like with Luna. I won’t interfere. If you want me to
apologize to Luna, I’ll kneel and prostrate myself before her!
“As long as you… you don’t divorce me and don’t chase me away…“
Alice’s lowly attitude was stinging to Joshua’s eyes.
Joshua closed his eyes and was silent for a very long time. In the end, he still could not help but sigh.
“Alice, just sign the papers. This is only the divorce agreement. As long as I don’t proceed with the divorce procedures, you and I are still husband and wife. If you really can do as you said, to turn over a new leaf and not treat my female employees with such tactics… I can destroy the agreement.“
Alice lifted her head. She looked at Joshua in a daze. “ Y-You’re not lying to me, are you?“
Joshua looked at her face. The face that he once loved the most. In the end, he still could not bear to say words that were too cruel and harsh.
“I’m not lying to you.“

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
