Joshua sighed and looked at the woman being buried in his arms. He wanted to raise his hand and pat her back comfortingly. However, he raised his hand and it stopped in mid-air. He could not find a way to bring his hand down.
In the end, Joshua could only sigh, “Alice, I have protected you for far too long. I really hope there is no next time.“
“There won’t be.“
Alice buried herself in Joshua’s arms. In a place where he could not see her face, she narrowed her eyes fiercely.
The only reason she agreed to sign the divorce papers was just to pacify Joshua for the time being.
In a few days, when this matter had died down, she had to find a chance to secretly get the divorce paper back!
Worse comes to worst, she would burn the place where Joshua kept the divorce paper down!
By then, if the divorce paper went missing, Joshua would not be able to divorce her too.
Theo and the mysterious person agreed to meet at the Bamboo Palace at 8 p.m.
At 7:30 p.m., Luna and Theo were already there. Both of them had different views of Luna’s new design, so on the way there, they kept debating on this.
In the private box of the restaurant, they were still debating about it. They lost track of time.
At 8 p.m., the door of the private box was opened.
When Jude appeared by the entrance, Luna and Theo were still in a heated discussion.
Theo sighed helplessly, “Then you should rather just add a skull. It would make it seem more dispirited.“
Luna pursed her lips. “You don’t understand. You can’t just simply use the skull element. At least, to me. The skull element represents evil and coldness. Also, something that still exists but should have long died.“
Theo rolled his eyes. He wanted to say something else when he raised his head and noticed a man by the entrance.
He immediately stood up. “A—Are you… the mysterious man that helped me previously?“
Jude paused a little. He smiled. “That’s me.“ Luna also subconsciously lifted her head.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
