Luna put her towel back in the bathroom and gave Gwen a sheepish smile. “I was sleeping so soundly that I didn’t hear my phone at all.“
Gwen pursed her lip and let out a sigh. “So…you’re not mad at me for what happened today, right?“
Gwen knew fully well that the wedding she was invited to was Ben and Clover’s.
She had been in love with Ben for so long that she had to see him marrying another woman with her own eyes to give up and move on from him.
However, Luke banned her from attending the wedding altogether, refusing to let her go in fear she would feel humiliated.
Therefore, she had no choice but to ask Luna to go on her behalf.
Luna shrugged. “I’m fine with it.“
Gwen lowered her head and said, “Luna, sometimes I really admire you… You moved on from Joshua entirely, and even though you spend a lot of time with him now, you can still maintain indifference…“
She sighed and lifted her head to gaze at Luna. “ Don’t you even feel agitated whenever you look at Joshua? Don’t you feel like getting back together with him?“
Luna shrugged again. “Why would I feel agitated? Why would I want to get back together with him? “
She still remembered how Joshua plotted to kill her.
No one understood her because none of them had ever gone through the pain that she had. If one had experienced such heartbreak and anguish like hers, they would know why she was able to forget about that man entirely.
“But…“ Gwen pursed her lips. “Sometimes, when I see you looking at Joshua, I can tell that you still love him. You—“
“You must’ve been mistaken,“ Luna interjected coldly. “Every time I think of him, I feel like vomiting.“
As soon as she said this, she felt her stomach churn, as if it had somehow sensed what she had said.
Luna felt nauseated, and all of a sudden, a bitter taste arose in her mouth.
She could not even say another word and instead stormed toward the bathroom. The next second, she was already holding onto the toilet bowl, retching. She had not eaten anything the whole day, thus nothing came out even though she tried to vomit.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
