Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 765
“Um…“ Shannon felt a little puzzled after hearing Bonnie’s explanation. “Bonnie, since there won’t be a groom anymore, why do you feel the need to host this engagement party?
“I know it’ll be a waste to cancel everything, but if you proceed with it…people will laugh at you, won’t they?“
Everyone fell silent as soon as they heard Shannon’s words, while Bonnie turned around and glanced at her, still smiling. “I know what you mean, but…“
She sighed and said, “I’m not doing so well now, and I was hoping that hosting this party would lift my spirits. As for what other people think… “ She lifted her head and let out a bitter smile. “Don’t you think I’m already humiliated enough?“
The entire office fell into silence once again.
Luna let out a sigh. She knew that Bonnie was right.
Bonnie and Jason’s engagement was so high-profile that even though Jason was arrested, their broken engagement still garnered a lot of media attention. Naturally, everyone in Banyan City had found out about what happened between the two of them.
Therefore, it did not matter whether Bonnie proceeded with the party or not —she was already Banyan City’s laughingstock.
Despite that, Luna still agreed with her. Instead of trying to cover up her shame, Luna thought Bonnie
should go ahead and throw the engagement party as planned, as a form of farewell to her past.
As soon as she thought of this, Luna lifted her head to glance at Bonnie. “When is the party?“
“Tonight.“ Bonnie lowered her head to check the time. “We still have four hours. It’s just enough time for you to get a dress and have your makeup done. “
Luna nodded, putting down her pencil as she stood up. “Alright then.“ She glanced at both Shannon and Zayne. “Let’s call it a day.“
As soon as she said this, Shannon snickered, glancing at Bonnie. “Can I come to your party, too? “

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
