Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 766
“How are you planning to take care of this?“
Joshua paused for a moment, then answered in a low voice, “I ‘ll go over tonight. “ With that, he hung up the phone.
Fiona wriggled into his arms and asked, “What’s wrong, Joshua?“
“Nothing.“ Joshua let out a sigh and gently patted her head. “I have some stuff to take care of tonight, so you’ll have to eat dinner by yourself. How does that sound?“
Fiona bit down on her lip and stared at Joshua with her dark eyes. “What’s so urgent that you have to take care of it tonight? I think I heard you say something about a party… Can you bring me along with you?“
Fiona then continued, her eyes glimmering with sorrow, “I ‘m new to Banyan City, and I don’t know anyone here. I ‘m just hoping to get to know a few people. Otherwise…“
She lowered her head and said in a rueful tone, “It’ll just feel like I ‘m stuck in a hospital again, all alone with no one by my side.“
Joshua let out a sigh. “Fiona, I’ve already allowed you to come work at Lynch Group, but I can’t let you do the same for this party. There will be many people there, and I wouldn’t want it to affect your psychological and physical health. Stay at home, okay?“
Tears welled up in Fiona’s eyes as soon as she heard this. “You don’t want to bring me, do you?“
She did not manage to catch much of the phone call he had, but she still heard the person on the other end of the line mention Luna’s name.
If whatever happened at this party would affect Joshua and Luna, she had to go, too!

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
