Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 782
How would they know that Fiona would intrude Luna’s office early in the morning because she wanted to put vitamins into Luna’s cup of water?
“I —It’s… It’s because yesterday was the first day of work, and I already had such an unhappy incident with Ms. Luna.“
At that moment, Fiona—who was so aggrieved a moment ago she could barely speak—finally said something.
Her voice still sounded so feeble, and it sounded shaky as well as she added, “I’d wake up with headaches if I don’t drink anything to sober myself up after having alcohol. I thought that since we’re all ladies, Ms. Luna should be the same, too.
“Last night, after some alcohol, Joshua boiled some soup to sober me up, but perhaps no one will care for Ms. Luna the same way.“
Fiona bit her lips, and her voice was so tender that it might crack at any moment. “That’s when I thought of secretly doing something for Ms. Luna, to give her some vitamins so that she won’t be too disgruntled Luna could not help but squinted her eyes at Fiona’s words.
It might seem as though Fiona was explaining the reason why she put vitamins in Luna’s cup, but the truth was…
She was trying to show off that Joshua made her soup and cared for her. She also implied that Luna was pitiful because no one took care of her. She was creating an image of being kind-hearted and concerned for other people.
Perhaps, the others might only hear that Fiona was showing off the fact that Joshua made soup for her. To Luna, there was another layer of meaning behind it.
Last night, Fiona sent Luna the video of Joshua serving her soup, and she even emphasized it once again.
It was clearly another way of trying to show her power and provoke Luna.
Luna smiled.
“Thank you for caring for me so much, Ms. Blake. Although I did have some alcohol last night, I still have people to look after me. My kids care for me, and I have a chef with many years of experience to make some soup for me, too. It tastes great.“

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
