Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 836
After closing the door, she closed her eyes and leaned against it. The sound of his retreating footsteps drifted in through the wood.
As she expected. He came to return the documents. After giving her the documents, he did not even bother taking an extra look at the children and turned and left.
Luna leaned against the door, a layer of ice enveloping her heart. Previously in his room downstairs, she clearly heard him say that he would not be visiting Nigel tomorrow. But to her, he said he would try his best. She knew that ‘trying his best’ meant that he would not appear.
Liar.
The next day, Nigel’s operation went ahead as scheduled.
Early in the morning, Anne and Bonnie both stood waiting in the hospital with a big bouquet of flowers in their arms. Zayne, Shannon and the rest were also there. Samson helped Arianna as she wobbled to the hospital. Even Gwen, who was far away in Sea City, had purposely recorded a video together with Luke to wish Nigel good luck for his operation.
It went without saying that Malcolm would have already sent both his well-wishes and a gift card to them the day before.
All of Luna’s friends had expressed their concern for Nigel and his operation, sending him their well- wishes.
All except that man. He did not appear.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
