Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 837
Nigel’s operation went on from lo a.m. to s p.m. in the evening.
Joshua never appeared.
Shannon, Bonnie, and the rest had already left, Anne was the only one left, accompanying Luna all the way through.
“It’s already so late, Joshua really isn’t coming?“ Anne took a glimpse of the time, and could not help but start cursing him again. “Where is his conscience?“
Luna curled her lips in a wry smile. “Today… Ms. Blake has an operation too.“
Maybe he was too busy and could not take the time to visit. She could only comfort herself like this.
Anne widened her eyes furiously. “I’ll go take a look! “
With that, she ignored Luna’s protests, raised her legs, and headed to Fiona’s hospital ward.
Luna was both worried about Anne causing trouble and curious about Fiona’s situation. She sighed and sat on the bench. Every minute and every second
that passed felt like torture. She even insecurely wondered whether Anne’s visit finally reminded Joshua that his son was undergoing an operation. Maybe then, his conscience would stir to live and he would come and visit Nigel. This way, he might be able to make it in time for when Nigel came out of
the operating theatre. Then, she could comfort the little guy and tell him that his father had been waiting for him all along. She did not want her son to be too sad.
But still, Joshua never appeared.
After around 20 minutes, Anne returned in fury. “I went to Fiona’s ward, the two of them were hugging each other sweetly! Do you know what they were doing in each other’s arms? Joshua was coaxing her to go to sleep! I even heard Fiona say that she wanted to give him a child, and he was worried about her health! “
The more she spoke, the angrier she got. “And over here Nigel is still in the operating theatre! Isn’t he worried at all?! “
Luna laughed bitterly.
She had been expecting too much of him. That man was not worth an ounce of her expectations.
She curled her lips and was about to say something when the doors to the operating theatre were opened.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
