Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 939
When Luna rushed to Jude’s company, his secretary stopped her.
“I’m sorry, Ms. Luna, Mr. Smith is not here.“
Luna narrowed her eyes slightly. She lowered her eyes and took a glimpse of the time. It was past 9 a.m. in the morning, normal working hours. Besides, today was Monday, where could he be if he was not in his office?
Right when Luna was wondering about Jude’s whereabouts, an executive of the Smith Group arrived outside of the office.
“Secretary Colleen, President Smith called me, he asked me to come over and report to him, he…“
The executive’s words were interrupted by the secretary. “Director Smith is not here now.”
The executive frowned. “But President Smith just called me half an hour ago. Besides, I just saw President Smith’s car downstairs, he should still be in the company, right?“
The secretary grew anxious, gesturing at the executive with her eyes and guarding against Luna at the same time. “President Smith just left…“
The executive was surprised, then finally understood the secretary’s frantic body language. He coughed lightly and said, “Alright, I understand. “ Then he turned and left.
After the executive left, the secretary finally breathed out a long sigh of relief and turned to Luna with a smile on her face. “Ms. Luna, President Smith is…“
“He’s still in his office, right?“
Luna lifted her lips in a cold smile and pushed the door open, ignoring the secretary’s protests.
The office was empty, without a single soul in sight.
The secretary hurriedly rushed forward and stopped Luna. “Ms. Luna, I told you, President Smith is not here, he…“
Luna narrowed her eyes, took out her phone, and dialed Jude’s number. His phone was switched off.
How could the president of a company switch off his phone on a working day?
She scoffed and realized he was hiding from her. So, she raised her legs and sat down on the sofa in his office.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
