Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 996
Joshua was already by the door when he noticed that Luna was still standing in the same spot.
He could not help but furrowed his brows. “Why aren’t you going?“
Luna came to her senses. She took a deep breath and immediately caught up with him.
“I’m coming.“
Joshua took Luna to Bamboo Palace, which was one of Banyan City’s best restaurants. It had an elegant environment and was famous for its dishes.
Luna thought that it was a little insulting and ironic that Joshua brought her there. The previous few times that she went to the restaurant were with
Theo. Theo even confessed his love to her there, too.
Joshua knew about that, too. Luna could not comprehend why he would bring her there. Was he trying to get back for her mockery a moment ago, or did he really think that this was the suitable place?
“Didn’t you say not to simply brush you off?“
Once they entered the private room, Joshua immediately passed the menu from the waiter to Luna.
“The food in Bamboo Palace is no joke. I’m not brushing you off, right?“
Luna sneered. She did not continue focusing on his intention of bringing her here. After all, food at Bamboo Palace was not cheap. Luna was not planning to let such a good opportunity to spend Joshua’s money go away so easily.
At that thought, she immediately flipped to the last page of the menu and ordered starting from the highest price dishes.
“I’d like a set of the Ausland Lobster. Also, give me a set of assorted seafood.“
“You’re going to have such a rich meal?“ When Joshua heard what she ordered, he could not help but smile. “Aren’t you afraid you’ll have a bad stomach?“
“Of course, not.“ Luna rolled her eyes. “Nigel and Nellie haven’t been by my side recently. I’ve gotten haggard and thinned down quite a lot, so I want to fatten up a little. Why, Mr. Lynch, are you not willing to spend the money?“

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
