Since Cedrick intentionally performed poorly during the game and Kieran was an amateur, Gwendolyn confidently scored the final point.

Gwendolyn and Inez won the spontaneous water volleyball competition by the skin of their teeth. They played seven rounds and triumphed over the opposition team four to three.

“Darling, you’re indeed amazing at this. I admit defeat and willingly accept punishment.” Cedrick’s jet- black eyes overflowed with affection while the corners of his lips curled slightly.

Kieran added, “We aren’t sore losers. Inez and Gwendolyn, we’re at your disposal.”

Inez glanced toward Gwendolyn and was about to ask her about the punishment when she noticed the latter giving Cedrick a meaningful look.

The three others in the pool turned their heads toward her and were curious about what she’d come up

Cedrick let out a breath of relief.

Kieran and Inez were in disbelief. Did she leave us in suspense only to reveal such a simple punishment?

“It seems like Gwendolyn still pities her husband. A hundred push-ups would be a piece of cake for a man, like him who used to train in the army. I bet he’ll finish it in one go without breaking a sweat,” Inez uttered.
