After studying to be a pastry chef for a while, Whitney quietly returned to the Newton residence.

The rest of the Newton family was not around. When the housekeeper saw her enter the kitchen, she stepped forward to ask, “Mrs. Newton, do you need our help?”

Whitney shook her head. “No need, you all carry on with your work. I just want to do it myself.”

Once the housekeeper left, Whitney began to busy herself.

She closed the kitchen door, and this place became her little world, where she methodically carries out each step.

After three hours of preparation, with a ‘ding, the mini cupcakes fresh out of the oven filled the entire kitchen with their delightful aroma.

Looking at the perfectly colored desserts, Whitney was very satisfied as she packed them into exquisite little boxes, then put the other foods she had prepared into the bag.

She prepared cakes, sushi, and some other snacks for the bonfire party, hoping these foods would appeal them.

After emerging from the kitchen, Whitney unexpectedly saw Charles. She had no idea when he had returned, or how long he had been standing outside the kitchen.

She took the initiative to walk over and hand him a cupcake that hadn’t yet been packed. With hopeful eyes, she said, “Try this. How does it taste? It is fresh out of the oven?”

If Charles liked it, then presumably no one else would say anything.

The little cupcake was already brought up to his lips, and Charles naturally parted his lips to take a bite.

“Mmm, the taste isn’t bad.”

Receiving his sincere praise, Whitney’s face lit up with a smile. “I’m sure Gwendolyn and the two babies will love it too.

Eventhough Gwendolyn told her Benedict and Zendaya would not be there, she still made small desserts for the two children.

A hopelul expression appeared on Whitney’s face. She was truly looking forward to this gathering. especially as his girlfriend.

“Now.”

As soon as she finished speaking, Charles naturally took the cake box from her hands and walked out. Whitney joyfully followed him.

They drove to the Jenson residence, then walked side by side through the winding alleyways of the estate. In just a few minutes, they arrived at Harrick Villa.

Gwendolyn and Cedrick were standing at the door waiting for them.

Upon seeing Whitney, Gwendolyn warmly welcomed her, taking her arm in hers.

“Ever since we last parted, I’ve been wondering when we could get together again. It’s rare that the two lerle rascals aren’t around today, so we can really let loose and have some fun.”

Whitney gave a shy smile. “I really like the two little ones. Zendy is such a quirky and interesting little girl. Will they be coming back tonight? I’ve made some desserts, and I wonder if they’ll suit their taste.”

While speaking. Whitney turned to Charles and said, “Charles, could you please bring over the dessert I made?”

Seeing that Whitney had brought dessert, Gwendolyn laughed and said, “Because Benny and Zendy’s teeth are not very good, we always avoid taking sugar or sweets at home. But I really like it, so I always sneak a bit. What girl doesn’t like sweets?”

The two shared a knowing smile, creating a harmonious atmosphere.

So they walked into the villa, tasted the desserts and teased Charles, “I’m really envious of someone who can have with a treat every day, getting to eat such delicious cake. If I were a man, I would definitely marry Whitney
