Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 135

The man put his hand behind his back, and replied, “I’m fine.”

Monique saw him hiding his hand from her, she pulled out his hand and saw that he was bleeding.

Monique was guilty, she said apologetically, “You’re hurt! I’m so sorry!”

“Don’t worry, it’s just a small matter.” The man reassured her with a smile. His attitude was polite and humble, exuding an air of nobleness and elegance.

“It must’ve hurt.” Monique looked at his hand and gently blew air on it.

Nick Johnny glanced over at the woman in front of him. She looked simple and natural, her thick and dark short hair made her appear pure and youthful. Her elegant face complimenting her arched eyebrows. She seemed like a college student with a refreshing look. Especially when she was blowing air on his hand, she seemed gentle and cute. Nobody would be able to get their eyes off such a gentle woman.

Nick’s lips curled up as he was intrigued by the woman in front of him, “It doesn’t hurt now.”

Meanwhile, an expensive-looking black Bentley drove past the opposite side of the road slowly. The man in the car had a handsome face that was darkened like the bottom of the pan. His dark eyes as sharp as swords, glaring directly at the woman who was holding onto the man’s hand.

The air suddenly became cooler and Monique could not help but shivered a little. She felt a familiar and cooling gaze locked on her, as cold as the ice on the north pole.

As she looked up abruptly, there was no car in front of her, other than the back of a car speeding away. She turned around to check again, but she could not find that familiar figure she was looking for.

She could not help but mutter to herself, “Monique Xander, are you turning crazy from missing him?”

“What’re you looking for?” Nick asked with a faint smile, his voice soothing like a clear spring water that washes one’s trouble away. His polite attitude was comforting like his elegant and handsome face. One could tell from his action that he was a man of the upper class, well-educated and luxurious.
