Monique passed Angel to her uncle. She walked over and smiled at Carl. “Uncle Carl, let me help you with these.”
“Ms. Xander, you’re being courteous. You don’t have to. These aren’t that heavy. Just let me know where you want to place them and I’ll bring them over to you.” Uncle Carl looked at Monique gratefully.
The woman in front of him had porcelain white skin. Her short hair as thick as seaweed neatly scattered on her face, and a sweet smile on her pure and sweet face looked exceptionally lovely.
She obviously had an unusual relationship with the Young Master yet she had no arrogance at all. He was very impressed.
As she was about to reach out her hand and take it over from him, Uncle Carl insisted on bringing these in on his own so she had no choice but to just guide him.
“Uncle Carl, just leave it here.” Monique guided Uncle Carl into the living room, pointed at somewhere close to the couch, and said.
There were some health supplements and well-known snacks, some of which were wrapped in exquisite packaging. Monique did not know what those were.
Uncle Carl placed them, then bowed respectfully to Monique. “Ms. Xander, if there’s nothing else you need from me, I’ll go back now.”
“Sure. Thank you, Uncle Carl. Well done,” Monique smiled.
He did not have to pay so much respect to her. She was not used to it since Uncle Carl was an elderly.
