Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 261

‘Miss Xander, I’m begging you, stop talking to me please,’ thought Shaun.

Otherwise, Henry Moore would definitely banish him.

He answered shakily, “Nothing, nothing. I’ve eaten. You guys please continue.”

He turned around and greeted Henry respectfully, “Young Master Moore, if there’s nothing else, I’ll excuse myself.”

Shaun’s face was pale, and his body trembled while he met with the chairman’s frosty glare.

“Get lost,” Henry said in an incredibly icy voice with a dark expression.

Shaun almost tripped on the way out of the room. He scrambled down the stairs and collapsed onto the ground.

Monique was stunned. She turned around to look at Henry, wondering why the man had gotten so angry…

They were just conversing normally as friends. Not only that, the amount of food they ordered was impossible to finish—it was just too wasteful.

Shaun’s ashen-face flashed across her mind. Was he not feeling well?

She stared at him and asked concernedly, “What’s wrong with assistant Stone? Is he sick? He doesn’t seem very well just now.”

Henry narrowed his eyes and shot a sharp glare at her. “Why are you so concerned about him?”

She was more concerned about Shaun than him. Looks like he should banish Shaun to the borderlands after this business trip.

At the stairs below them, Shaun shuddered out of a sudden while he screamed internally.

Monique put another piece of meat into her mouth and replied, “It’s just usual greetings between friends, nothing else.”

Henry’s gaze softened slightly. He glanced at her and said, “He’s fine. Are you done eating?”

Monique looked down at her empty plate and answered, “Almost.”
